What is Halotherapy?

Halotherapy, also known as Dry Salt Therapy, is an alternative therapy that has become increasingly popular in recent years. It is a type of natural healing that involves the inhalation of salt-enriched air in a special room or a salt cave. It is believed to help treat respiratory illnesses, skin conditions, and stress.

Halotherapy is based on the ancient practice of using salt to improve health. Inhalation of salt-enriched air can help reduce inflammation, improve breathing, and relax the body and mind. The salty air also helps to purify the air and reduce the number of allergens and pollutants.

The process of halotherapy is simple and straightforward. You will sit in our salt booth for a minimum of 20 minutes and during this time, you will be exposed to a dry salt aerosol which is created by a special device called a halogenerator. The salt is smaller than .3 microns and is breathed in deeply and slowly.

The benefits of halotherapy can be felt almost immediately. Many people report feeling relaxed, energized, and rejuvenated after their session. They also report feeling relief from their respiratory and skin conditions. The salt aerosol can help to reduce inflammation, improve breathing, and promote better sleep.

Halotherapy is a safe and natural therapy that has been used for centuries. It is a simple and effective way to improve your health and wellbeing. Whether you are looking to reduce inflammation, improve breathing, or just relax and rejuvenate, halotherapy is a great option to consider. So why not give it a try and see what benefits you can reap from this ancient healing practice?

What are the Benefits?

Halotherapy is a natural and safe treatment for adults, children, athletes, and animals alike. Its benefits include:

  • Relieving a variety of respiratory issues, such as asthma, allergies, the common cold, bronchitis, and COPD
  • Skin conditions like eczema, acne, and psoriasis

If you don't have any specific conditions, halotherapy is great for:

  • Overall general wellness
  • Removal of toxins from the respiratory system including airborne diseases, pollen and smog
  • Assists in invigorating the body by increasing lung capacity and oxygen intake

Visit us once or twice a week to enhance lung capacity, boost the immune system, reduce stress, reduce allergens, and support better sleep. For chronic and acute respiratory conditions, a more frequent and consistent routine is recommended for maximum benefit.

Make salt therapy a regular part of your health and wellness routine.

Why are there different color lights in the HaloIR Booth?

The different color lights is known as 'Color Therapy', 'Light Therapy', or 'Chromotherapy.  The color light can benefit your well-being.  Chromotherapy or light therapy is the science that uses the seven colors of the light spectrum.  The seven colors have the ability to affect the vibrations of the body's various frequencies.  For optimal health, we all need the light of the sun.  We receive light from the sun, which is divided into seven main groups of rays, which are absorbed by our bodies.  To learn more about Chromotherapy, please talk with our Salty Staff and they can guide you in the direction of the light most suitable for you.
